This page describes how account deletion works in Snacked today.
Snacked is a fitness and wellness app. It is not a medical app.
How to delete your account
- Open the Snacked app on your device.
- Log in to your account.
- Open Settings.
- Choose the account deletion option and follow the in-app prompts.
Account deletion is irreversible. It signs you out and removes your account from the active app systems described below.
What Snacked deletes
When you delete your account, Snacked attempts to delete your active sessions, account records, authentication records, per-user health and wellness data, uploaded media, sharing links, pending sharing invites, and sharing access-audit rows that identify your account. Snacked also requests deletion of your PostHog analytics person profile and associated events. The PostHog deletion step is asynchronous after Snacked submits the request.
What is anonymized or retained
Some records are not deleted outright:
- Subscription event records are anonymized, not deleted. Snacked removes account identifiers and keeps a tombstoned billing record for financial, audit, and webhook integrity.
- Beta-code records are anonymized by removing user references.
- Operational metadata in logs and AI telemetry can remain until normal retention periods expire. These records are designed not to contain raw personal information or raw health content and should be associated only with identifiers. After account deletion, those identifiers should not be resolvable through Snacked’s account records.
- Session replays can remain until their normal retention period expires. Unlike the operational metadata above, replays capture on-screen app content, which can include health content such as coach messages, notes, and meal or check-in details, as it appeared while the account was active.
- Support tickets can remain under Snacked’s normal support retention process. If you contacted support, a ticket may include the message, contact details, and screenshots or attachments you chose to send.
Known retention references include session replays around 90 days and PostHog logs around 14 days.
If deletion partially fails
Deletion is not guaranteed to complete instantly. If a required supplier or storage step fails, the API can return a partial-failure state instead of silently claiming success. Snacked then needs to investigate and complete the remaining deletion work.
